Policy on checking out library materials.

All regular adult and children patron cards will be able to have 10 items on your record at a time. No more than 5 dvds can be included in that borrow. You cannot borrow 10 dvds at one time.

All new patrons will have a probationary period of 6 months with a checkout of just 1 item out at a time. A patron may check out 1 item in the morning and come back in the afternoon to check out another item.

Fiction and Nonfiction titles checkout 30 days

Dvds checkout 5 days

New Fiction titles checkout 14 days

CDs checkout 14 days

If you are unable to get your books returned by the due date located on your checkout slip you can go online to your own account and renew an item, call the library at either location to renew for you or come in to speak to a librarian.

All items are allowed 2 additional checkouts before fines begin accruing at 25 cents per day, up to the cost of the item. Please contact the Library Director with any issues regarding the fines or needing more time.

Any patron who is 65 years of age or older will have all fines waived. However, if the book is reported lost the patron will have to pay the cost of the books plus a $5 maintenance fee.
